I noticed on George's website that he is having Seth Klarman as a special guest in March 2009.  I was thinking of asking George if we could come to the talk, is anyone else interested in something like that.  I figured for those who could make it, it would be fun to get together and update on how things have been going over the last year.  I'm sure we would have plenty to discuss after all that has transpired this year.

I talked to George and he said we are welcome to come.  So mark you calendars and nearer to the time we can work out the details.  I think this will be a lot of fun.

Here are the details on the seminar.  Anyone who wants to come just post your interest in this string and a couple of weeks before the seminar I will submit the names of people interested in coming to George just so he knows how many to expect.

      Seth Klarman, MBA, The Baupost Group, Boston, Massachusetts (March 17th, 2009, 5:20pm-7:00pm, Room 1R40) – Videoconference.

I was also thinking that we should ask George if he wants to come out for dinner with us after the conference and we could all chip in for his dinner.  Let me know what you think.

Just a reminder that the Seth Klarman Video Conference is next week Tuesday nigh from 5:20 to 7:00pm. Based on responses it looks like about 5 or so of us will be going so I will let George know.  I was thinking that we could go out for dinner or something after the video conference so hopefully that works for everyone.  If you need more information then just email me at mkazmaier@gmail.com.  I tend to check that quite frequently.  Looking forward to seeing you all next Tuesday.
